People arriving at Brompton Lakes are amazed to see our three new resident alpacas Apollo, Jack and Inca. They are creating lots of interest and seem very happy in their new home. Normally indigenous to South America, living at altitude in the Andes, they stand about 3 feet to the shoulder and are gentle by nature. Alpacas are bred for their soft, lightweight and lustrous fibre; so expect to see a new range of Brompton Lakes knitwear next season! Sunday, 27 June 2010.
